PVC gate valves are used to allow, block and regulate flow in a pipe line. The user-operated handle turns two ways, raising or lowering the "gate" inside the valve body. This is ideal for applications where a gradual shutoff is beneficial, or where throttling is needed. Gate valves generally come in two handle styles - rising stem and non-rising stem.
